Anna May Walters Obituary

Anna May Walters, 89, of Charleston, IL passed away at 5:12 AM on Friday, March 30, 2018 at Hilltop Nursing Home in Charleston, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM Monday April 2, 2018 at The Barkley Funeral Chapel in Greenup, IL. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Monday. Burial will be at Bell Cemetery.

Anna May was born on June 29, 1928 in Charleston, IL the daughter of William and Esther (Moore) Aufdenkamp. She married Robert Walters in September of 1946 and he preceded her on November 4, 1998.

Anna May is survived by two sons Tom (Shirley) Walters of Fairfield and Mike (Carol) Walters of Charleston; daughter Teresa Houser of Toledo; eight grandchildren; twenty- two great-grandchildren; and twenty great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers Donald, Norman, and Victor Aufdenkamp; sister Dorthy Anderson; son-in-law Raymond “Bud” Houser; one great-grandchild, and one great-great-grandchild.
