Ann (Lawyer) Lilley

Ann (Lawyer) Lilley, 92, of Ashmore, IL passed away at 10:36 PM on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at her residence.

The funeral service will be held Monday, October 1, 2018 at 10:00 AM at The Barkley Funeral Chapel in Toledo. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 PM Sunday evening at the funeral chapel. Burial will be in The Janesville Cemetery.

Ann was born on January 28, 1926 in Janesville, IL the daughter of William and Elise (Drummond) Howard. On August 8, 1942 she married Dale Lawyer and he preceded her in 1990. She then married Elza Lilley in October 1994 and he preceded her in 2008. She married Bill McDivitt on January 23, 2015 and he survives. She is also survived by daughters Beverly (Gary) Probst of Charleston, IL and Jenny (Ron) Cain of Charleston, IL; daughter-in-law Barb Lawyer of Janesville, IL; step-sons Del (Julie) McDivitt of Ashmore, IL and Richard (Cathy) McDivitt of Ashmore, IL; four grandchildren, Jennifer Salee, Les Cain, Michael Cain, and Christy Lawyer; and six great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; son Larry Lawyer; brothers Earl, Robert, Bill, Harry, Charles, and Lawrence Howard; sisters Lois Croy, Rosemary Matheny, Margaret Rennels, Ella Waggle, and Isabel Stone.

Ann was a homemaker. Memorials may be made to Janesville Cemetery.
