William Eugene King

William Eugene King, 58, of Toledo, Illinois passed away at 3:30 pm on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center in Mattoon, Illinois.

Cremation rites accorded. Memorial graveside service will be on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 4:00 pm at the Toledo Cemetery with Military Rites by Cumberland County Veterans. Barkley Funeral Chapel in Toledo assisted the family.

Eugene was born on August 5, 1958 in Mattoon, Illinois, the son of William and Suzanne (Gordon) King. He married Roseanna Cook on May 18, 1990. She is surviving along with children Maria Roberts of Canton, IL, Kim Newkirk of Toledo, and Tiffany Halsey of Charleston, IL; mother Suzanne Weaver of Casey; brothers Terry King of Casey, Doug Weaver of Jackson, MO, Alan Weaver of Missouri, Mark Weaver of Greenup, Curt Weaver of Casey; sisters Sandra Grigg of Casey, Brenda Franklin of St. Mary, MO and Peggy Hale of Casey; five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, John King.
